I have been a fan of John Mellencamp since his early days. However, this concert was way off the mark. There was nothing in the description of the concert that said the first 30 minutes were going to be taken up by old movie clips...and I didn't pay over $100 for the ticket to watch old movies. While TCM may be his sponsor those clips could have been shown while attendees were filing into the venue and going to their seats. And I wasn't the only one displeased. Several times it could be heard others in attendance voicing their displeasure. If this is going to be part of his "concert", this information needs to be released ahead of time so attendees can make an informed decision as to if they want to purchase tickets knowing that the purchase is going to include old movies.
